Thompson Estate The Specialist Chardonnay 2021

The season turned out to be very good for the earlier ripening chardonnays in Margaret River. This is one of the finer and most delicate Specialist chardonnays yet. On the nose a combination of grapefruit and pear with an underlay of meal and almond provide an excellent opening. The palate has deeper stone fruit flavours with that edge of nectarine and white peach. An excellent wine with some cellaring potential.
