The Swan District is within 30 minutes of Perth’s centre, thus it enjoys a steady stream of willing customers. The area comprises the locally famed Swan Valley as well as the northern plains. As in the Barossa and Loire Valleys, the term ‘valley’ is not what you see when you drive into the region, instead you are surrounded by river plains lined with vines.
