Thompson Estate The Specialist chardonnay 2024

A beautifully composed chardonnay from this warmer year. Slightly earlier picking before the heat arrived has resulted in a wine of considerable finesse and elegance. Aromas of citrus and grapefruit lead to subtle stone-fruit notes. Earlier picking gives the palate a lovely, delicate edge, while the wine retains the deep-seated power and fruit concentration that are part of its character. A beautifully long, fine, linear finish.
