This Sicilian variety has really found a home in many parts of the state, and this one from the Great Southern is certainly one of the best. It has a creamy, nutty character, with aromas of cashew and light stone fruit. The palate is quite rich and creamy, but it's held together with a tight acidity that gives it focus and precision as it extends to its logically long finish. A flavoursome and thoroughly appealing example of this variety.
