One of the most refined and stylish cabernets yet from Credaro. Yes, the vintage suited these reds, but it’s been well managed to gently coax the best from it. Bright red and blue fruits on the nose with a slightly bay leaf and sea shell minerality. The palate is more medium bodied with fine chalky tannins and fine-grained oak building...

Credaro 1000 Crowns cabernet sauvignon 2023
Cabernet Sauvignon
This has to be the finest cabernet yet under this label. There’s power, structure, and poise - a compelling combination. On the nose, lovely floral perfumes, with bright red and black fruit and a little bay leaf lift. There’s vibrancy, and it’s alive with energy on the palate. Finely integrated and poised, with concentration and an effortless ease that extends...

Credaro 1000 Crowns cabernet sauvignon 2024
Cabernet Sauvignon
A brilliant and bright cabernet with deep colour. The remarkable thing is that a wine of such elegance and poise has come out of this very warm season. And yet it is a most charming wine. Aromas of blackcurrant with some nice perfumed African violet notes, a little dark chocolate and bay leaf. The palate is rich and generous, with...

Credaro 1000 Crowns Chardonnay 2022
Chardonnay
This is one of the best I have seen from Credaro. Has the typical rich generosity but it's delivered with a tidy restraint and deft elegance. Aromas of lemon blossom, grapefruit and white peach. Then the palate brings it all together with a rich lees influence, neatly applied oak and a crisp fresh acidity. It stacks up mighty well.

Credaro 1000 Crowns Chardonnay 2023
Chardonnay
A pure and expressive chardonnay from this exceptional vintage. Treated as naturally as possible with wild yeast fermentation and no malolactic. So, it retains a bright crystalline minerality through the energised palate and lifted aromas. Had about 8 months in oak with regular lees stirring bringing the textural complexity. Racy lemon palate with a faint cashew and chalky character. Precise...

Credaro 1000 Crowns chardonnay 2024
Chardonnay
This comes from the Margaret River heartland, 100% Wilyabrup. The vineyard was planted back in the '80s, so it’s been there for a while. It’s been wild fermented, whole-bunch pressed with high solids, showing that saline minerality that is so compelling. It’s immensely concentrated, but has focus and poise with real precision. All Gingin clone, so there’s power in spades,...

Credaro 1000 Crowns chardonnay 2025
Chardonnay
I’ve seen a gradual but significant refinement of this wine over the years, and this is certainly one of the finest. It was well fermented, and the subsequent use of solids has brought complexity, richness and texture. The nose is dominated by lemon pith, grapefruit and white stone fruit characters. The palate is rich and quite lavish, but that fine...

Credaro 1000 Crowns Shiraz 2022
Shiraz
Here is a wine that completely debunks those who claim Margaret River can’t make classy shiraz. This is an outstanding example that combines the rich opulence of the variety with finesse and suppleness that is the hallmark of the very best for this variety. Vibrant and highly energised aromas of spicy plum and floral dark chocolate, complemented by a dry...

Credaro 1000 Crowns shiraz 2023
Shiraz
This is from the Wilyabrup property of Credaro. It was a great vintage, and this is such a powerful and concentrated example of Margaret River shiraz, yet it’s poised and defined, even a little refined, with a degree of elegance. Made in a fairly traditional way, it displays deep, earthy, grainy, opulent dark plum and blackberry nuances. There is a...

Credaro 1000 Crowns syrah 2025
Syrah
Yet another statement of how good syrah can be in Margaret River, certainly when the seasons are good. Beautiful notes of spicy plum and plush mulberry, with some nice perfumed floral tones. The palate is generous and sits in that medium- to full-bodied zone. Plush, spicy fruit, a little dark chocolate and a sweet fruit character are precisely balanced by...

Credaro Eredita Great Southern fiano 2025
Fiano
A variety that continues to find a home in many parts of the state. It’s wine of both purity and flavour. On the nose, a mix of nutty pear and citrus provides a nice opening. Then the palate displays richness with a dry savoury element pushing through to a long finish. There’s excellent texture and richness here held with focus...

Credaro Eredita Montepulciano 2024
Red Varietal
The first thing is the depth and intensity of the colour. It was made minimalistically with little winemaking involvement. Has a ripe, juicy mouthfeel with plenty of dark and blue fruits with some nicer savoury herb-like characters. There’s a sort of wild and crazy mix of aromas that are immediately engaging. Lovely texture and dried finish.

Credaro Kinship cabernet sauvignon 2023
Cabernet Sauvignon
Like so many cabernets from this vintage, it displays elegance and style, but at the same time, there is structure and poise. A little petit verdot and malbec have been introduced, making an important contribution, but in the main it’s all about the blackcurrant and blackberry notes, even with a touch of dark chocolate. There’s brightness and energy, with deep,...

Credaro Kinship cabernet sauvignon 2025
Cabernet Sauvignon
Structured and poised cabernet that incorporates about 4% malbec, adding some plush red fruit characters. It’s a generous, full-bodied wine, and on the nose there’s that hit of blackcurrant and black olive, with some deeper, darker chocolatey overtones. It’s seamless and elegantly structured, with the rich fruit flavours precisely supported by fine tannins and some nice, almost understated oak. High-class...

Credaro Kinship chardonnay 2024
Chardonnay
Here is a wine that captures a rich, nutty interpretation of Margaret River. It's generous, yet there is a controlled and refined structure here. It’s been all wild fermented, with a mix of vineyards contributing. It gets about 25% new oak for around nine months. There’s a nice bright minerality, and the balance comes from the 25% puncheons, which means...

Credaro Kinship chardonnay 2025
Chardonnay
This is a high-class, polished chardonnay, impeccably presented from what turned out to be an excellent vintage. On the nose, a swirling mix of nectarine and lemon rind, with subtle nougat complexity. There’s even a faint hint of struck match. The palate is quite rich and textured, but retains a fine acid lift and line, with lovely minerality. An appealing...

Credaro Kinship malbec 2025
Malbec
The colour is an extraordinary deep, dark, reddy-black, so typical of malbec. The aromas are concentrated blackberry and plum, with some subtle blue fruit influences. There’s a lifted floral, spicy, stewed-rhubarb-like character that is quite typically varietal. The palate is the feature. It’s rich, textured and plush, with fine supporting tannins and some lovely oak. High-class wine, this.
There’s a fair bit of Italian influence here because it’s two-thirds nebbiolo and one-third barbera, co-fermented. It shows how these varieties can work together with a certain style. Fermented in all older oak, with lees stirred to bring richness, complexity, and textural character to this light-bodied wine. It’s quite fragrant, with an energy that extends through to the finish.
What you’re getting here is loads of ripe plummy fruit that explodes from the glass. The colour is dense and almost opaque black, with hints of bright red on the rims. It has a deep and rich intensity with an earthy, savoury dark chocolate richness on the palate. Two vineyards contribute — Wilyabrup and Yallingup — and that gives it...
