This famous wine is now a multi-regional blend with fruit from McLaren vale, the Barossa, Padthaway and Wrattonbully. This is one of the best in recent years with beautiful aromas of meaty charcuterie character, merging with a little licorice and lifted aniseed. Dark plummy fruits with traces of licorice, dark chocolate and a further hint of graphite contribute to an engaging palate. So well balanced and poised.
