Structured and poised cabernet that incorporates about 4% malbec, adding some plush red fruit characters. It’s a generous, full-bodied wine, and on the nose there’s that hit of blackcurrant and black olive, with some deeper, darker chocolatey overtones. It’s seamless and elegantly structured, with the rich fruit flavours precisely supported by fine tannins and some nice, almost understated oak. High-class wine, this.
