Xanadu malbec 2024

The warmer season seems to have suited this variety particularly well. It's predominantly malbec with a 10% contribution of cabernet sauvignon, providing structural support through the middle palate. The nose is intensely concentrated with spicy, chocolatey aromas layered over bright red fruits. The palate is plush and generous with rich plummy flavours and a touch of dark chocolate richness. It retains impressive elegance, poise and, above all, flavour. The structure and fruit weight will reward further cellaring. A seriously impressive wine.
