Xanadu Circa 77 cabernet sauvignon 2024

Plenty of punch and intensity in this cabernet sauvignon-dominant blend, given extra complexity by small additions of malbec and petit verdot. Around 20% new oak has been used, an impressive inclusion at this price. Black currant and plum aromas are supported by lightly toasty oak. The palate is generous with ripe blackcurrant fruit, while the firmer tannins, typical of the warmer vintage, provide sound structure. Well integrated and ideally suited to drinking over the next few years.
