The pinnacle of the Woodlands stable, consistently among Margaret River’s finest. One of the most aromatic and almost pretty examples of this wine, named each year after a Watson family member. Complex aromas of blackcurrant, bay leaf, oyster shell minerality and black olive tapenade. The palate shows how fruit and oak have been stylishly harnessed, with chalky tannins providing support and drive to a long, sustained finish. A wine of structure and power with immense cellaring potential.
