A chardonnay of tremendous concentration and energy from this very good vintage. Aromas initially displays that gunflint and struck match nuance over intense grapefruit and lemon zest characters. The palate is lavish and textured but with control and focus as the chalky acidity strikes out on a straight line to a long finish. A beauty.
