A wine that beautifully combines power with refinement. Predominantly cabernet sauvignon, it's complemented by smaller portions of merlot, cabernet franc and malbec. Aromas of blackcurrant, olive tapenade and a subtle bay leaf lift lead into a palate seamlessly woven with fine chalky tannins and well-judged oak supporting the concentrated fruit. It has plenty of power, yet maintains an elegant medium-bodied refinement. A first-rate wine.
