This was such a good year that even wines in the budget zone offer so much enjoyment. This one ticks all the drinkability boxes and then a few more. Bright vibrant red fruits delivered with a medium body. Plummy blackcurrant with a mix of minerals and dried herbs supported by a thread of chalky tannin. Rather scrumptious.
