Willow Bridge Estate Maris Sol chardonnay 2023

This is something new and quite an excellent expression of chardonnay from this outstanding vintage. There's some neat oak contributing to an expressive style, but with the power and intensity of the fruit, strong features as a nutty, creamy character on the nose and then a palate which shows some slightly struck-match, flint-like characters. It's a wine of great character and style, and an interesting development at Willow Bridge.
