Victory Point Petit Verdot 2022

If you wanted a vintage that suits petit verdot then the warm 2022 was right on the money. It started damn hot but finished somewhat milder, allowing the fruit to ripen beautifully after that initial burst. Deep colour is typical of the variety with a dark reddy black hue. Aromas of blackberry and dark liqueur chocolate with fleshy fruit wrapped around a firm core of tannin and oak.
