Upper Reach Reserve Shiraz 2021

This is a slightly tighter and firmer wine than the more opulent 2020. It's really a style thing and very much based on vintage. The essential characters of plummy fleshy fruit, mocha and dark chocolate are there but with a slightly savoury meaty addition. The palate has a more gravelly feel to it. But ultimately it is about flavour, and there is flavour in spades.
