Twinwoods Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz 2017

It was a cool year but worked out well for producing an elegant style of wine from this region. A couple of extra years in bottle have certainly added another dimension with the original black pepper and sage withdrawing into the dark fruits to create a more harmonious seamless relationship. The palate is in the medium zone but the firmish chalky tannins really define and control it. A focussed effortlessly long finish.
