The nose bursts with a powerful hit of black cherry and slightly earthy truffle like characters. The palate is fleshy with more strawberry dominant flavours emerging. The oak is well judged and sits with the chalky tannins to cradle the palate through to a sustained finish of dark chocolate and subtle limestone.
