Stormflower Vineyard Small Batch chenin blanc 2023

I have to say, this is one of the best whites I've seen from Stormflower. It was partially barrel fermented, and this has provided a nice textural and aromatic addition to the nose and palate. It has a creaminess about it, but there's still a racy, energetic mix of tropical fruits and edgy lemon zest, with just a little red apple complexity. Thoroughly delicious palate feel. A beautifully formed chenin from a very good year.
