The first encounter on the nose suggested this might be special. Further investigation revealed it is. Cracking vintage produced intense and vibrant fruit to underpin a wine that has been expertly handled to capture all that was good in this vintage. It’s got power, yet delivers with medium body. Blackcurrant, dried herbs and bay leaf aromas with a trace of graphite. Balanced and poised palate. As good as anything yet from Stormflower.
