St Johns Brook chardonnay 2025

An intense and quite powerful chardonnay from this warmer year that's been neatly restrained to deliver a most stylish expression of the variety. On the nose, there's a subtle baked apple, stone fruit and slightly savoury lemon meringue combination. The palate is tightly controlled, but there's good flavour intensity that releases through to a sustained finish. That savouriness picks up again on the finish. There's some real punch here.
