St. Aidan Sparkling chardonnay 2022

This has been a consistently strong sparkling wine from St. Aidan over the years. Made from 100% chardonnay in the Ferguson Valley, it was handpicked, normally processed, and then bottle fermented. The aromas are classic and citrusy, with red apple and a touch of biscuity brioche. The palate is vibrant, offering good mid-palate richness but also the fine linear precision that defines the style. An excellent value-for-quality sparkling wine.
