Sittella The Arsenal Buckshot Ridge 2022

Really interesting wine, this. There are three clones of cabernet sauvignon and a new clone of cabernet franc plus different clones of malbec with a little merlot. This is a very young wine, but it is looking very good. It’s structured and poised with the 25% new oak an important contribution. Lots of minerally blackcurrant fruit with a trace of oyster shell. It’s not overripe so is looking very good. Finishes quite dry and showing dried herbs on the finish.
