Sittella Avant Garde chenin blanc 2026

This has been made in the méthode traditionnelle style from grapes grown on the estate. There’s plenty of sparkling chardonnay around these days, and it’s little wonder because it produces excellent sparkling wine. But this one has introduced a little more texture and richness into the natural acidity and fruitiness of chardonnay and produced something really special for this variety. Creamy and textured, but with that bright, piercing acidity, it sustains a very long finish. A lovely current-drinking example of this style.
