Sittella Avant Garde albariño 2026

Sittella introduced this a couple of years ago. It’s a variety synonymous with the Rías Baixas region of northern Spain. This is quite an exciting release and, in my view, the best to date. Nice, subtle aromas of spices and dried herbs, with a little lemon zest. The palate has surprising complexity for a lighter-style wine, with that spicy, lemony, dried-herb character well to the fore. A sustained, crisp finish to an excellent wine.
