Singlefile Great Southern fiano 2025

This variety is most famous for the wines it produces in southern Italy and Sicily, but it has found a home in Western Australia, where it performs well. The aim appears to have been to preserve the vibrant, delicate characters of fiano while retaining a degree of texture on the palate. There is a distinctive citrus mix of lemon and orange rind with a subtle spicy thread. The palate shows green apple and pear with a lifted spicy, slightly apricot note. Once again, there’s that Singlefile textural feel that makes these wines so immediately enjoyable.
