Sandalford Estate Reserve shiraz 2023

These old vines at Sandalford in Wilyabrup were among the first shiraz planted in the region. This is a beautifully polished and poised example of Margaret River shiraz, with aromas of fruitcake and plum, lightly savoury notes and a little licorice. The palate displays remarkable softness and generosity, with chalky acidity and subtle oak harnessing the fruit perfectly. A lightly savoury finish completes an excellent wine.
