Sandalford Cellar Reserve chardonnay 2025

Made from fruit sourced from Pemberton, this is quite distinct from the Estate Reserve from the Wilyabrup vineyard. Made along similar lines, but the result is finer and leaner, with beautiful aromatics of light citrus and quince, a little fresh sea spray and a palate that is fine, linear and deeply intense. Wonderful purity, with crunchy, cracked-seashell characters adding complexity. Terrific wine.
