Run Free by Singlefile chardonnay 2025

This wine within the Singlefile portfolio has evolved over recent years into one of the best value wines released anywhere in the state. And it might be value for money, but it's made with some serious intent, including wild yeasts and some nice oak treatment to develop complexity. There's also been some regular lees stirring, which has introduced a textural feel, complemented by a portion of malolactic fermentation. The wine has a refreshing purity with a spicy, citrusy character, and that lovely, understated barrel-ferment influence adds richness to the palate. Balanced, poised, and pure.
