A very pretty and delicious young pinot that offers immediate drinking appeal but has the structure and core to support further bottle development. Combination of chalky raspberry and slightly savoury mushroomy characters on the nose. The palate has a nice warm fleshy character, but then the taught core of fine tannins and well managed oak, of which 30% is new, has provide that final impetus.
