This is a marvellous example of what can be achieved with astute winemaking and a mature vineyard in Mount Barker. It's a striking wine displaying a delicate palate, yet one with layered complexity and power. Gets the usual handpicking, whole bunch and wild yeast treatment with regular lees stirring bringing further complexity and richness into the palate. Has a lovely oatmeal and roasted almond character with a trace of butterscotch.
