Rosenthal Marker pinot noir 2025

This is a super exciting pinot from Pemberton, and when you can get a pinot of this quality at this price, you really do have to thank your lucky stars. This is high-class sophistication. Dark cherry, slightly truffly notes on the nose with a spicy subtlety. The palate has tremendous intensity but delivers with medium weight and such delicate poise. Oak and tannin are coiled together in support of the fruit that extends with focus and intent. Subtle sour cherry savouriness on the finish completes an excellent wine. This has some good cellaring potential too, with those firmish tannins.
