This Mount Barker chardonnay displays the elegance, restraint, and delicacy of the 2025 vintage in Mount Barker. Has a subtle citrusy, nutty nuance on the nose, with just a faint melony complexity. The palate has a nice fruit composition but a lively, slightly steely, minerally thread that gives it precision. And that fine chalky acidity really helps carry it through to a fine finish. Thoroughly enjoyable wine. Best in the shorter term.
