This is about a 50/50 blend of these two varieties and it has had no oak. On the nose there is a fragrant blue and black fruit combination. It may not have had oak, but it has structure, with supple tannins in support. Quite a juicy and flavoursome wine. It is rich and delicious, with juicy fruit as it drives through to a lovely, refined finish. Most appealing current-drinking wine.
