The colour is brilliant and deep with crimson magenta hues. Then the nose. Oh, wow. This is something special, with a combination of black cherry and blackberry with more opulent plummy notes. A subtle peppery chocolate and African violet character. The peppery character merges into the bright red fruits of the palate. Is balanced with fine tannins and so well-managed oak. An excellent example of the variety.
