La Kooki Las Piedras tempranillo 2022

From the 52 Stones vineyard in Ferguson Valley, this tempranillo was wild-yeast fermented with whole berries and hand-plunged throughout. After gentle pressing, it matured in older French oak for nine months, again topped with stones to maintain fullness. The wine is fruity, juicy, and supple, with classic dried herb and raspberry notes. Smooth and approachable, it’s evocative of Spain and irresistible to drink.
