L S Merchants Frankland River riesling 2025

This comes off the Swinney vineyard. There's a distinctive, crisp lemony character here with its slick minerally iron filings character. It was left on light lees in a mix of tank and foudres, adding a subtle textural feel. Has a tight, edgy lemon character on the finish, which gives it focus and definition. It was aged on fine lees for nine months before bottling. There's just a faint hint of spice and musk, which brings further complexity to it as a young wine. The residual sugar of 11g/l is well balanced, so it finishes dry.
