L S Merchants dry rosé 2025

It's a pinot and tempranillo combination. Have been making rosé since 2015. The pinot comes from the Bellarmine vineyard in Pemberton. Intense red berry fruit on the nose with strawberry and cranberry characters. Picked early, whole bunch pressed, some in ceramic egg. Has a slightly savoury character. Lovely slightly viscous texture which adds another dimension to it. The fine chalkiness cuts through the palate to give it that texture. The pressings bring a little weight.
