Idee Fixe Premier Brut Blanc de Blanc

This 100% chardonnay, sourced from vineyards well to the south of Margaret River, has emerged as one of the most popular sparkling wines made in this state. The intensity is evident from the start, with aromas of lemon zest and subtle bready brioche characters pointing to its fruit sourcing. The palate is equally intense, with a sustained and quite powerful momentum that extends through to a very long finish. There's a slight minerally, almost saline-like character, with just a faint savoury finish.
