Despite the very warm vintage conditions, this has turned out to be one of the most refined and elegant examples of this wine yet. Brings these two varieties together in perfect harmony. Blackcurrant plummy spicy and slightly peppery on the nose. The palate is so seamlessly woven and integrated, producing a velvety smooth finish. Fine tannins and well-integrated oak all come together to harness the ripe and quite plush fruit flavours. There's power here but it's refined and delivered with such elegance.
