Well, there have been some good ‘uns under this label but I reckon this might well be the best. It combines with subtle finesse the power of the fruit with an elegance and refinement to create an exquisite expression of the region. So much is happening in the palate with a merging of butterscotch, roasted nuts, brioche and lemon curd to create a layered complexity. A fine acid cuts through the creamy texture with such deft precision.
