This really is a most impressive chardonnay. If you’re looking for a bit in you chardonnays then this guy is just the ticket. It was all handpicked and barrel fermented with wild yeast before maturation in French oak for 14 months. The natural power of the Gingin clone and the vintage has been harnessed and controlled into a coiled linear design that extends with urgency to a tremendously long finish. Has a dry savoury finish with a little chalky acid.
