There are loads of concentrated fruit characters on the nose, and you're immediately struck with a raspberry plummy mix, a little cedar, and some light dusting of white pepper. The palate is generous and plush. Yet it presents with a velvety smooth suppleness thanks to its fine tannin and gentle oak infusion. It's a most stylish and poised example of what Margaret River can do with shiraz in these slightly cooler years from this northern part of the region.
