Fermoy Estate Wilyabrup Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

This comes off the original plantings of 1985 at Fermoy. And those old vines are really pumping out some high-class, powerfully balanced fruit. Aromas that are a mix of blackcurrant with some almost juby red berry influences, providing a nice contrasting balance. A little bay leaf and black olive nuance adds further complexity. The palate has brightness and purity, but with deep, concentrated fruit supported by a core of tannin and oak. It's an elegant and most graceful wine and a great example of the vineyard and the vintage.
