Evans and Tate Wild Cape cabernet sauvignon 2025

Wow, this is cracking good value for money. Classy red wine from this excellent vintage. The colour is extraordinary. Deep, reddy purple, subtle crimson hues. The nose is a power-packed engine room of blackcurrant and bay leaf, a little black olive, and some syrupy plum notes. Such a delightfully presented palate, capturing all the fruit intensity but delivering it with a certain medium-bodied understatement. Nice chalky tannins and some gentle, muted oak all combine to create a most impressive wine.
