Driftwood Artefacts chardonnay 2025

This turned out to be an excellent season for white varieties, particularly chardonnay, producing wines of delicacy but still with the latent Margaret River power. A small amount of the wine was allowed to go through malolactic fermentation, and then the wine was left for about nine months in oak with regular lees stirring as required. It has a rich textural feel, but the minerality, which is heightened by this particular vintage, is a defining character. Crisp, powerful and long.
