Domaine Naturaliste Sauvage sauvignon blanc 2025

I've been a bit of a devotee of this wine over the years. It's where Dukes blends some quite beautiful sauvignon blanc fruit with a little French oak to deliver a wine that has layers and complexity and a distinct point of difference from a stock-standard savvy. Lovely lemon meringue and lemon-zest notes on the nose, and then a palate that is rich and textured, with some nice nutty oak characters. And more of that butterscotch richness, but the fine mineral acidity extends its control to carry the wine with some precision to a long finish.
