Deep Woods Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2026

A thoroughly beautiful example of a lightly oaked sauvignon blanc from an excellent season. The fruit, for a start, is deeply intense, with some nice stone fruit and lemon notes. The palate has been given partial barrel fermentation, which introduces a textural appeal, but it retains its vibrant tropical fruit notes, so the balance is captivating. Then a little dried herb-citrusy mix completes the finish. First-rate stuff.
