De Vese Single Vineyard pinot noir 2024

This is another wine sourced from the Shepherd’s Hut vineyard. The colour is bright crimson and light red. This is quite a pretty wine of some elegance with the 40% whole bunch adding that structural mouth feel. The oak was a mix of puncheons and hogsheads for the oak treatment. Has a slightly rose petal and Turkish Delight character. Again, it’s a delicate wine. It has a textured and grainy palate feel. Whole bunch has contributed to the slightly grainy characters on the palate. The tannins are fully developed but in perfect balance. An excellent first-up release.
