De Vese Single Vineyard grenache 2024

The fruit for this outstanding grenache comes off the Swinney vineyard at Frankland River. This is another exceptional wine displaying a lovely perfume and that ironstone character that is part of the regional DNA. Spent 18 months on lees and then and straight to bottle. It has lovely mouthfeel and texture. Tremendous fruit intensity delivered with a real style. There’s a slightly gunmetal gun smoke character with a minerality and a slightly saline bright character. Ripping good wine.
